Connect with one person
A quiet space for two partners. Never a feed, group chat, or public profile.
Write a private letter, choose its moment, and seal it away. When the date and both keys are ready, open it with intention. Or create a surprise your partner will not even see until it arrives.
The date has arrived. Two keys are needed.
It was the waiting, then opening it together.
Texts are instant, crowded, and quickly buried. Handwritten letters feel meaningful, but distance and everyday life make the ritual hard to sustain. The Love Envelope keeps the care, the pause, and the shared reveal, while making it possible to begin from your phone.
The ritual creates room between writing and reading, so the words arrive as a moment, not another message in the stream.
A quiet space for two partners. Never a feed, group chat, or public profile.
Take your time. Each draft belongs only to its writer while the words are still taking shape.
Sealing is a commitment. The letter can no longer be edited or reread in the app before opening.
Choose a real date and time. The waiting is part of what makes the words feel different.
When the date arrives, one key from each partner completes the mutual opening ceremony.
The scheduled time makes a mutual ceremony available. It never opens the letters by itself.
Write toward the same moment together, or prepare something only your partner will be able to discover.
Both partners write and seal. At or after the chosen time, both arrive in the ceremony and place one key each. One key alone never opens the letters.
Sometimes the reason is a milestone. Sometimes it is simply that a feeling deserves more room.
The anniversary you do not want to rush
A long distance night that needs closeness
The gratitude that deserves more room
A wedding morning pause before everything changes
A celebration you want to remember slowly
An ordinary day that quietly became important
Your letters are encrypted in transit and at rest. Sealed letters are also isolated behind strict server side access controls. The app provides no way for you, your partner, or Love Envelope support to read a sealed letter before its opening conditions are met.
Your partner cannot read the words you are still writing.
After sealing, even the author cannot preview, edit, download, or export the letter before it opens.
Before its scheduled unlock, the recipient sees no envelope, badge, countdown, or notification.
Content is gated by the opening rules on the server, not merely hidden in the interface.
Love Envelope is not end to end encrypted. Our systems store letter content. A small number of authorized personnel can access specific content outside the app only in the limited safety, legal, account security, or technical circumstances described in our Terms. Every such access is restricted, tied to a documented case, and logged.
Standard letter exchanges will be free and unlimited at launch.
Write, wait, open, and return to the letters you are authorized to read. There is no paywall between one meaningful moment and the next.
The details matter because the commitment matters.
No. The scheduled date makes the opening ceremony available. Both original partners must be present and place one key each. One key never opens it, and the date alone never opens it.
Not through ordinary app features. Once sealed, a letter cannot ordinarily be retracted, edited, reread, or exported before opening. Limited safety, legal, account security, or technical circumstances may require the service to restrict, preserve, or remove content.
Before its chosen unlock time, the recipient receives no row, title, badge, countdown, count change, or notification. At unlock, only a generic sealed envelope appears, and only the intended recipient can unseal it.
No. The mutual ceremony authorizes the letters together, but each partner reads independently. A letter is marked read for someone only after it actually appears on that person's screen.
A mutual exchange has a seven day ceremony window. If it remains sealed, it moves to the Archive and can later open only after both partners approve. An unlocked surprise can still be opened by its recipient from the Archive.
It is currently in private preview. Public availability remains subject to final privacy, legal, safety, and app store review. The planned launch audience is adults 18 and older.
Yes. The current product commitment is that standard recurring letter exchanges will be free and unlimited at launch.
The Love Envelope is still being carefully prepared. If the idea feels like the two of you, send this page to your person.
